Jolene Roehlkepartain's Biography
Jolene Roehlkepartain is a writer and parent educator. She has written 30 books, including Parenting Preschoolers with a Purpose, Raising Healthy Children Day by Day, 101 Great Games for Kids, Teaching Kids to Care and Share, Fidget Busters and The Best of Building Assets Together. She has also coauthored 10 books, including What Young Children Need to Succeed and Starting Out Right: Developmental Assets for Children. Her books have been translated into a number of languages, including Chinese and Korean, and are sold internationally.
When she’s not writing, Jolene Roehlkepartain occasionally presents workshops on Development Assets to parents, childcare providers, educators, health-care professionals, faith communities, librarians, people in the workplace and community leaders.
She has previously been featured in publications including The Washington Post, Time, Psychology Today, Glamour, Woman’s Day, and The Dallas Morning News. Jolene Roehlkepartain also has appeared on TV and radio programs.
She lives in Minneapolis with her husband and two children.
